One of the most gifted battlefield tacticians of the American Revolutionary War, he later commanded the troops that suppressed the Whiskey Rebellion. Morgan is best known for his command of American troops at the Battle of Cowpens. The Battle of Cowpens (January 17, 1781) was an decisive victory by American Revolutionary forces under Brigadier General Daniel Morgan, in the Southern campaign of the American Revolutionary War. A Lynx spider enjoying dinner with a wasp. I think I was pretty lucky to have wandered up on to this little moment. I was also pretty lucky with this being one of the few successful attempts at macro photography I've had.

Relay For Life

Relay For Life is the American Cancer Society’s signature activity. It offers everyone in a community an opportunity to participate in the fight against cancer. Teams of people camp out at a local high school, park, or fairground and take turns walking or running around a track or path. Each team is asked to have a representative on the track at all times during the event. Relays are an overnight event, up to 24 hours in length. Teams of people from all walks of life have fun while raising much-needed funds to fight cancer and raise awareness of cancer prevention and treatment.
